Technical Guidelines

Before submitting your set, please follow our technical guidelines to ensure it meets our platform's standards. This will help avoid lengthy back-and-forth communication regarding problem-solving and imperfections.

Vector Files

  1. The artboard size should be 1920px by 1920px (300dpi, RGB). The layer should be named "Content"
  2. The artboard’s name should be "Artboard 1"
  3. Each illustration must be grouped (no need to group all the illustrations together).
  4. No overlapping lines are allowed.
  5. All illustrations need to be aligned within the 1920px by 1920px artboard with at least 100px of empty space between the illustrations and the artboard edge.
  6. All illustrations should be precisely arranged and aligned in a square grid, like here: CAD Vector Arches Catalog
  7. All vector files need to be saved in Adobe Illustrator format as CS6 (.ai).
  8. Before saving your work in Adobe Illustrator, make sure the artboard is properly centered and maximized on your screen. To do this, double-click the "Hand Tool" (represented by a hand icon) located in the main toolbar. This action will automatically center the artboard within your workspace and scale it to fit the screen, allowing you to see the entire layout clearly before proceeding with the save.

The final result folder for review should include the following:

  1. One Adobe Illustrator (.Ai) file
  2. One PNG white background cover image with all the illustrations arranged in a square grid (1920 x 1920px, RGB, 72dpi)
  3. A folder named "PNGs" containing all illustrations of the set, saved separately as PNG files on a transparent background and without excess borders around each illustration. The smallest axis size of each saved PNG illustration should be 2500px.

Both vector and PNG files need to be in RGB, 300dpi format.

CAD Files

  1. All files should be saved in DWG 2004 format and use centimeters as the unit of measurement.
  2. All illustrations must be in centimeters and to the correct scale. Proportions must be accurate; if there are adults and children in the same set, the children's height must be shorter than the adults' height.
  3. Each illustration should be in its own block (groups are not allowed in the DWG file).
  4. Only one layer is allowed, named "Layer 0"
  5. All base points of each illustration must be at the lowest spot (but always on the line itself). If there is a corner at the bottom, always place the base point in the corner.
  6. All parameters like color, line weight, and line style must be set to "By Layer"
  7. Each illustration should be clean and free of double lines, overlapping lines, adjacent lines that do not touch each other, and excess line leftovers that have not been trimmed off.
  8. CADs must not have any references (also called XRefs in AutoCAD terminology). If a reference file is attached to a DWG file, AutoCAD will display a pop-up window saying something like "There is a file missing." Please avoid this.
  9. All files must be purged. Use the PURGE command to clean your file.
  10. CADs must be on a white or black background.
  11. All illustrations should be precisely arranged and aligned in a square grid, like here: CAD Vector Famous Public Art Sculptures and Installations Mega Pack

Files that do not adhere to our guidelines will not be accepted. It is crucial that all submissions comply with the specified standards to ensure compatibility and quality. Please ensure that all aspects of the guidelines are meticulously followed before submission to avoid any delays or refusals.
